Su merced, you hit the nail on the head.

To the rest of you, she's right. Go on and buy this book and read it! Go on! Do it now!

I love Mexico City. Lida gets it and tells it the way I wish I could. I would finally be able to convince my petrified North American friends (well, some of them) that they are idiots and suckers to be afraid to visit this great, exciting, enlivening, and fabulously weird city. Bravo for David Lida! Bravo for Cristina! Bravo for the DF!

Hi Cristina. Perhaps I've been listening to too many teenagers but this is dreamy as in "my boyfriend is dreamy." You show a wonderful Mexico full of color and life and the unexpected, one that we both love. Naturally you know all about the dark side too but just choose not to focus on that. Can't wait to get my hands on David Lida's book.

Rachel, how lovely. Thanks so much...Cristina
